:: PORTRAIT AGREEMENT & POLICIES ::
:: THE SESSION ::
:: The Session Fee is due within five (5) days after booking your appointment. This guarantees the time and date allotted for you. Should payment not be received in this time frame, Jill Hurst Photography reserves the right to offer the date and time to another client. *

:: A typical Head Shot session lasts approximately 30 Minutes. *

:: If the weather isn't agreeable on the day of the session, we will reschedule to another date. If there is a chance of rain in the forecast, I will notify you a day or two before the session. Reshoots will be rescheduled at the discretion of Jill Hurst Photography. Bad weather shoots are always rescheduled; however, no reshoots will be held for unfortunate clothing, hair, or other styling choices. *

:: I will gladly reschedule a session due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances; please notify Jill Hurst Photography at least 48 hours before your scheduled session. In the event of cancellation, the session fee may be applied toward a session at a later date. *

:: Jill Hurst Photography's prices periodically change. The prices at the time the session is booked are valid for 60 days after your private online gallery goes live. *

:: Additional fees and costs related to a client's location choice (i.e. park entry fees, admission, parking) are to be covered by the client. Travel up to 25 miles from 30004 is included. Time and travel above this will be invoiced (contact me for pricing). *

:: Jill Hurst Photography is to be the only photographer at the session. Please have no other cameras, camcorders, or camera phones in use. *

:: PROOFING & ORDERING ::
:: Within 2 weeks from your session date, I will present you with a private, password protected online gallery which will include approximately 10 professionally edited images.

:: Galleries will be active for 10 days before expiring. *

:: PAYMENT ::
:: All orders must be pre-paid. Prints take approximately 2 weeks and specialty items such as albums and canvases take 4 weeks. If the items need to be shipped, shipping charges will be applied to the invoice. If they don't, a time will be set up for delivery.

:: Jill Hurst Photography accepts cash, checks made out to Jill Hurst Photography, and credit cards. Additional processing fees will be added to orders paid by credit card.

:: Personal checks returned by the bank, for any reason, will be charged a $35.00 service charge and all orders will be cancelled if they are not paid in full within three days of notification.

:: Due to the custom nature of each session, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. *

:: OTHER ::
:: Waiver of liability: client expressly releases the photographer, her employees and agents from all claims, damages, and liabilities that may result from accidents or incidents that occur during the portrait session. This waiver of liability includes waiver of any claim that may be a result of negligence. *

:: COPYRIGHT ::
:: Jill Hurst Photography retains copyrights on all images (even those digitally purchased) and reserves the right to use the images for promotion without additional compensation.

:: Clients are in no way authorized to allow any third party to scan, copy, or otherwise reproduce these images without written consent.

:: Copying or scanning images from your private online gallery, Jill Hurst Photography's website, Jill Hurst Photography's blog, Jill Hurst Photography's Facebook Page, or from other printed materials is considered stealing, regardless of the intent for use. However, if "tagged" in a Facebook post, clients are welcome to use the image as a profile picture or tag friends, but must include the Jill Hurst Photography watermark.

:: I certify that I am at least 18 years of age. I agree that I have the legal authority to grant these permissions and I accept all responsibility for such.

NOTICE OF COPYRIGHT: As a client of Jill Hurst Photography, I acknowledge and understand that the images taken by Jill Hurst are protected by Federal Copyright Laws. It is ILLEGAL to copy or reproduce these images elsewhere without the express written consent of Jill Hurst. . Violators of this Federal Law will be subject to civil and criminal penalties.

By agreeing to this optional Model Release, you grant Jill Hurst Photography permission to use images from your session for the purpose of display, portfolio, advertising, website, blog or any publication or social media for promotion. Jill will contact you if any image from your session is used for any purpose other than her website, blog, Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. *
